Matt is a building professional with more than 14 years experience in building codes/regulations & building certification. Matt’s previous experience at the ABCB and NSET provides Matt with a unique perspective when providing regulatory advice and allows him to effectively communicate this advice to a range of stakeholders.
Matt is a lover of the great outdoors and the country despite trading it for life in the city for over 15 years. He spent a year living in Nepal working for an NGO to implement building permit processes, completed a self-supported 150km trek along the Margaret River coast in WA, and a four-month trip swagging around Australia with his mates. Now as a family man with his hands full with two young kids; Matt’s time in the great outdoors is mostly limited to his backyard veggie patch (including chooks!).
