🍰 Happy National Lamington Day!
This iconic Aussie treat was (allegedly) first whipped up in Queensland in the early 1900s by Lord Lamington’s chef, Armand Galland, when faced with surprise guests and limited ingredients.
There are a few theories about how it all began, but one thing’s for sure: this “sweet solution under pressure” is something those of us in the building industry can appreciate!
Today, our offices marked the occasion with a morning tea of lamingtons, laughter, and a little local flavour.
