We have a highly qualified team with extensive experience in all types of construction projects for Approvals, Consultancy, and Essential Services work. With over 60 staff members across four offices, we have accreditation in NSW, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, and the ACT. About the Role
As Technical Administration in Melbourne you will play a key role in supporting the operations of our building surveying teams. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks, with a strong focus on statutory documentation and client communication. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced professional setting, can manage their time effectively, is happy to work within a collaborative team environment all whilst maintaining a strong focus on compliance and quality. As the role includes working with a diverse team, it will be important to exercise patience and adaptability in interacting with colleagues with varying communication styles and approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage phone calls, emails, and client correspondence
 - Prepare fee submissions
 - Prepare, format, and proofread inspection reports and documentation
 - Coordinate building inspections
 - Maintain accurate records and assist with office administration

 - Takes ownership of tasks allocated to them and manages them autonomously. While we won’t micromanage, we trust that the work will be completed on time and to a high standard
 - Understands the dynamics of remote collaboration. As face-to-face interactions may be limited at times with other members of the team, proficiency in using Microsoft Teams for communication with the team is essential
 - Is dependable and responsive when called upon to assist or take on responsibilities
 - Is comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
 - Is proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
 - Is well-presented with a positive, can-do attitude
